Product Description: A Vietnam Era USMC NCO Sword – H&H – Etched Name, produced by Hilborn Hamburger Inc. of Solingen, presented here in notably high condition. The blade retains its full chrome finish and crisp factory etching, including the personalized inscription Everett Bruce Comey. The spine is stamped with serial number 380, and the hilt components—including the guard and wire-wrapped grip—remain exceptionally clean, with the original twisted wire firmly set. A slight movement is detectable at the pommel and grip, consistent with age but not detracting from display quality.
Measuring 33¾ inches at the blade and 39¼ inches overall, the sword is accompanied by its original black leather scabbard, which survives in excellent condition with only minimal wear. Brass elements show light, even patina from handling and time. A refined and increasingly scarce example of its pattern, this Vietnam Era USMC NCO Sword – H&H – Etched Name offers both historical interest and strong visual presence, making it a desirable acquisition for advanced militaria collectors.
