This Inert MK1a1 Practice Pineapple Grenade is complete with its original ring and pin. Marked with a 3 along area of spoon. Nice cast iron practice grenade. An exceptionally well-preserved example, offering strong visual appeal and historical interest as a display piece.

Historical Description: The U.S. MK2 Grenade, commonly known as the “pineapple” grenade, was the standard American fragmentation grenade of World War II and the early Cold War period. Cast in segmented iron to aid fragmentation, it was designed for anti-personnel use and equipped with a timed fuse. Widely issued to U.S. and Allied forces, the MK2 became one of the most recognizable infantry weapons of the 20th century, valued for its reliability and rugged construction.
