Product Description: A scarce TeNo Overseas Cap Eagle, featuring a machine-woven national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, with the Technische Nothilfe (TeNo) cogwheel insignia at its center. Embroidered in silver/aluminum thread on a dark blue inverted triangular base, this insignia was designed to be sewn onto the TeNo overseas cap. The detailed weave and crisp design remain well-preserved, with minimal signs of wear, making this an excellent example of a rare TeNo insignia.
Historical Description: The Technische Nothilfe (TeNo) was originally founded in 1919 as a volunteer emergency technical service but was later absorbed into the Reich Ministry of the Interior under the Third Reich. TeNo personnel were tasked with technical and infrastructure-related duties, including repairing critical utilities, supporting emergency services, and assisting in wartime labor efforts. Their uniforms featured distinct insignia, including the cap eagle with the cogwheel emblem, symbolizing their technical expertise and role within the regime. Due to the small size of the organization, TeNo insignia like this overseas cap eagle remain highly collectible and relatively rare.
