Product Description: A scarce and very desirable NSKK Marine visor cap eagle, offered in outstanding original condition. This example is correctly RZM and M1/63 marked on the reverse, identifying manufacture by Steinhauer & Lück of Lüdenscheid, a premier and highly respected maker. Both original reverse prongs remain fully intact and undisturbed, exactly as you want to see.

The eagle retains crisp, sharp detail throughout with a pleasing, even patina. The finish is honest and untouched, with no evidence of postwar cleaning, polishing, or tampering. This piece has excellent eye appeal and presents exactly as an original example should.
Perfect for a Riker mount display or as a high-quality component for a visor cap restoration. Original NSKK Marine eagles are legitimately hard to find, and good ones with intact prongs and clear markings are becoming increasingly scarce.
The NSKK (National Socialist Motor Corps) served as the motorized arm of the Nazi Party, responsible for training members in the operation and maintenance of motorcycles and automobiles, as well as providing transport for NSDAP and SA officials. With the outbreak of World War II, many NSKK personnel were absorbed into military transport units, making insignia from specialized branches such as the Marine division particularly difficult to source today.

Historical Description: The National Socialist Motor Corps (Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps, or NSKK) was a Nazi paramilitary organization that conducted training in the operation of motorcycles and automobiles, and also transported Nazi Party and SA personnel. It was founded in 1931, as a successor to the National Socialist Automobile Corps. The organization and ranks in the NSKK were similar to that of the SA. It focused on fitness in motoring skills, including maintenance and use of both military and civilian vehicles. NSKK members assisted with traffic direction, as well as the transportation of personnel involved with constructing the bunker system on Germany’s western frontier. Starting with the outbreak of war in 1939, the NSKK assisted the German armed forces, providing infrastructural support. As with most uniformed organizations in the Third Reich, the NSKK had a myriad of specific regalia and insignia, each with its own distinct purpose and meaning.
