Japanese General Commander’s Badge – (IJA)

Product Description: Japanese General Commander’s Badge awarded to those ranked as a general. Worn on the lower right hand breast area or pocket. The convex obverse is in the form of a 45mm x 35mm vertical oval with 32 rays projecting from its center. Fixed over the rays is a brass/gilt open-topped wreath, bound at its base and with chrysanthemums to its top. A brass five-pointed star is pinned to the center of the projecting rays and is surrounded by the aforementioned wreath. To the reverse is a broad, vertical attachment clip, hinged at its top and with a slot to its base which passes through a corresponding ring. Very hard to find in this grade. This Japanese General Commander’s Badge is in excellent plus condition.
