Product Description: A scarce German Railroad Officer brocade buckle, adopted in 1940. This zinc buckle features a finely detailed winged wheel surrounding a swastika, encircled by a raised oak leaf wreath. The reverse is unmarked, and the buckle remains in very good condition despite a break to the belt attachment. Front of buckle has has approximately 20% of the original gold finish, while the back shows only the zinc base underneath. A highly desirable piece of Third Reich transportation insignia.
