German Railroad Officer Brocade Buckle – Assmann

Product Description: A scarce German Railroad Officer brocade buckle, adopted in 1940, manufactured by Assmann. This aluminum buckle features a finely detailed winged wheel surrounding a swastika, encircled by a raised oak leaf wreath. The reverse is well-marked with the Assmann maker’s mark, and the buckle remains in excellent condition with minor wear consistent with age.  Front of buckle has two puncture marks, the left mark goes through to the back, the right one does not clear through. A highly desirable piece of Third Reich transportation insignia.
