German Fighting Knife

Product Description: A German Fighting Knife in excellent condition. The “Gottlieb Hammesfahr” marked steel blade is in excellent condition, showing only light use. The cutting edge is in great condition, and the surface area of the blade shows only minor scattered marks and light freckling. The wooden grip is in excellent condition. It exhibits signs of only light use with some light marks, no major damage can be seen. The originally black painted scabbard with leather belt loop is in excellent condition as well, and shows signs of wear consistent with the rest of the knife. The leather belt loop has lost much of its rigidity over the years of wear and tear, but remains intact and functional. A nice German Fighting Knife that would compliment a combat mannequin or display.
