Product Description: This Adolf Hitler Large Spoon is an extremely desirable personal item from the supreme wartime German leader. This is the formal greek key pattern, used by Hitler and his guests during state banquets and dinners, and at formal occasions at Hitler’s homes. It’s a beautiful silver spoon, 7 1/4″ long, that just oozes quality and craftsmanship while still presenting a rather simple and extremely elegant design. The outer border of the handle features finely rendered geometric Greek Key detailing, and the handle is adorned with a political style Nazi eagle and swastika emblem, flanked on the left with the letter “A”, and on the right with the letter “H”- the initials of Adolf Hitler. The reverse of the handle has the hallmarks of the manufacturer, Brückmann; there is a crescent and a crown emblem, as well as “800” indicating the silver content- 80 percent pure, a typical German alloy from that era.This spoon has been used, and shows some wear, but no damage. The toning to the silver is slight and particularly attractive. The condition of this Adolf Hitler Large Spoon is excellent.

In the case of the highest Nazi leader, Adolf Hitler, he had a number of sets of silverware, place settings, linens and service items, used for different functions in his various homes and in the places where he entertained domestic and foreign leaders. When American troops entered Germany in the closing months and weeks of the war, these personal items that had belonged to infamous Nazis were very eagerly sought after as souvenirs. Today, these items, especially those that belonged to the highest echelon of German leadership, are generally regarded as high-end collectibles.
