Product Description:   A rare and highly sought-after Japanese MGC Uzi Plug Fire Replica Gun, produced in Japan during the 1970s at a time when ownership of functional military firearms was severely restricted. Manufactured by MGC, renowned for its high-quality model and replica arms, this example represents the closest approximation to an original Uzi available to collectors without access to a live firearm. Designed to replicate the weight, balance, and mechanical operation of the original, it offers an exceptionally authentic handling experience while remaining legal to own.

This Japanese MGC Uzi Plug Fire Replica Gun is preserved in good overall condition, exhibiting an attractive, even patina with light, honest wear consistent with age. The surfaces retain strong character, and the piece remains fully functional as intended. Increasingly scarce on the market, these MGC blank fire guns are now recognized as significant artifacts of postwar collecting culture, valued both for their craftsmanship and for their role in bridging the gap between replica and original military arms.

Unloaded, practice, or dummy grenades, artillery shell casings, and similar ordnance items that have been rendered inert through BATF‑approved cuts or drilling—ensuring they cannot function as components of destructive devices—are not classified as NFA weapons. This example fully meets those compliance requirements and is offered strictly within the United States and available to states that are leggal. NOT AVAILABLE FOR EXPORT.

Historical Description: The Uzi submachine gun was developed in the late 1940s by Israeli military officer Uziel Gal and quickly became one of the most recognizable firearms of the 20th century. Adopted by the Israel Defense Forces in 1954, the Uzi was designed to be compact, rugged, and simple to manufacture, featuring an innovative telescoping bolt and magazine housed within the pistol grip. Chambered in 9×19mm Parabellum, it offered controllable automatic fire and excellent reliability, even in harsh desert conditions. Its straightforward design made it well suited for both military and security forces.

The Uzi gained international prominence during the 1956 Suez Crisis and the 1967 Six-Day War, where it proved highly effective in close-quarters combat. Over time, it was adopted by armed forces, police units, and special operations groups in dozens of countries, becoming a global symbol of modern submachine gun design. Numerous variants—including the Mini and Micro Uzi—were developed to meet evolving tactical needs. Though largely replaced by more modern platforms, the Uzi remains an enduring icon of postwar small-arms engineering and Israeli military innovation.
