Historical Description: In 1938, the Reich’s police forces underwent standardization, leading to the adoption of this distinct belt buckle design. These buckles were worn by municipal, rural, and Ordnungspolizei (Order Police) personnel, who played a key role in maintaining domestic security, occupation duties, and wartime policing operations.
